Our range of gourmet products started from humble and simple beginnings.
Dave’s love of growing things led to a gradual expansion of the vegetable garden that eventually led to the growing of a wide variety of vegetables, especially onion, tomato, garlic and chilli plants. This abundance of fresh produce was given over to Nic’s passion and creativity in the kitchen – where she drew on her experience creating specialty foods – and produced the first of our sauces that were handed out to family and friends. The feedback we received encouraged us to expand the types of sauces and chilli-infused dishes and to experiment with different varieties and growing techniques.
The culmination of Dave’s tinkering in the garden and Nicki’s experience of 30+ years work in commercial kitchens is the gourmet hand-crafted specialty food products we offer at Hov’s Kitchen.
